MPR launches early phase clinical research capabilities in Michigan, USA. The new business unit will be lead by several of the company's executives and cover a proposal to set up a 50-bed unit in Troy, Michigan, USA. The early phase business unit also launched a joint venture with St. John Health System to partner in supporting early phase clinical trials in several of St. John Health facilities in Michigan, including a proposal to transfer the Detroit Riverview medical facility into a research lab and clinical research unit.

The main focus of the partnership project is to support patient-volunteer based studies and focus on Oncology. The project aims also to partner with leading Health Institutions in Michigan such as Karmanos Cancer Institute, University of Michigan and several others.
